Career Planning

Some graduates seek additional education after their Master of Health Management (MHM) degree. MHM graduates have successfully gained admission to PhD programs.

Students considering PhD programs are encouraged to complete the Scholarly Paper course, present your work or projects at conferences, and seek to get your work or projects published.  Investigate graduate programs that are of interest to you.

A large portion of graduates receive a promotion during or within 1 year of completing the MHM degree. Make use of the many career and professional development resources available to you.

For more ideas about what MHM graduates have done please read student testimonials.

Graduation Requirements

Completing your Master degree requirements is the responsibility of the student, in consultation with their program, to ensure that all requirements have been satisfied.

Once you have completed all your courses (8) and all other curriculum requirements, the Master of Health Management (MHM) program office will inform the School of Graduate Studies that you are ready to proceed to graduation.

Using Mosaic, you are responsible for logging in to do the following:

  • indicating whether you will be attending the ceremony via the  Graduation Information Centre,
  • confirming your name on Mosaic is correct, as the name on your diploma will be exactly as shown on student records.
  • confirming your contact details on Mosaic located in your profile details and your address are also correct.

Note: All courses must be completed with at least a B- standing for grade letter courses or Pass for Pass/Fail courses.
